As local people gathered for the Lillington & Longmoore and Churchill Gardens hustings in Pimlico, we spoke with Cities of London & Westminster's Prospective MP Tim Barnes. Tim explained,

"It's Thursday evening, and it is three weeks until the general election.

"We're here in Pimlico for one of the hustings, the second hustings that we're going to have with members of the general public asking myself and the other main candidates a series of questions on whatever topics they bring up.

"I was here two weeks ago with James Cleverly, the Home Secretary, talking about local crime issues and policing.

"We were here just a week before that, talking about some of the building and repairs issues with residents of the estates here at Lillington and Longmoore Gardens, as well as members of the local residents’ associations.

"I'm really looking forward to this, because I always find that whenever we do these things, the questions that people bring up aren't the ones that you expect.

"They are often very personal and based on their experiences. So let's see what happens!"
