We handed over to the Prospective MP for the Cities of London & Westminster, Tim Barnes, for his latest #timtalks video on deeper policy issues. He explains,

"I want to talk about rents and leaseholds.

"This is a critical issue. With the cost-of-living pressures so many feel, there are too many who feel they are in a precarious position.

"I would like to see us build on the Leaseholder Reform Act passed this year and bring in further protections that will increase their sense of security.

"In this, I am a much more of typical resident than my Labour or LibDem opponents.

✅I live in a one-person household, which is the most common category here, making up 46.2% of this constituency. Neither the Labour nor LibDem candidates can say that.

✅I live in a flat, the most common property here, like 90.6% of this constituency. Neither the Labour or LibDem candidates can say that.

✅I rent, which is the most common category here, like 47.1% of this constituency. Neither the Labour or LibDem candidates can say that.

"So, in this constituency, I am in a much better position to relate to local residents than the other main party candidates.

"Indeed, the Labour or LibDem candidates don't even live here!

"That's why I am the strong local Choice for the Cities of London and Westminster."
